سب سے پہلے اس بات کی دھوم مچی ہوئی ہے کہ ٹرمپ اور پیوٹن آپس میں ملاقات کریں گے اور یوکرین کی جنگ ختم ہوجائے گی۔ پہلے یہ خبریں تھی کہ ٹرمپ روس پر ٹیرف لگائیں گے مگر اب مذاکرات کا دروازہ کھول دیا گیا ہے البتہ اس پر ایک بات کا پردہ ہٹاتے چلیں کہ روس نے کہا جنگ ختم کر دیں گے مرگ روس کو یوکرین کا سارا مشرقی علاقہ دیا جائے جس درخواست پر یوکرین نے انکار کیا کیونکہ وہی زمین تو زرخیز زمین ہے۔ اب دیکھتے ہیں اگلے ہفتے ملاقات ہوگی یا کچھ اور ہوگا۔

اس کے علاوہ ایک اہم بات یاد رکھئے گا کچھ دن پہلے مجھے یاد پڑتا ہے ٹرمپ کا ہی ٹویٹ آیا تھا کہ چائنہ تائیوان پر اور روس یوکرین پر لازماً حملہ کریں گے۔

امریکہ کا قرض سب سے زیادہ 37 ٹریلن ڈالر تک تجاوز کر گیا اور یاد رہے قرضہ گولڈ کا دشمن ہے۔

Last week, a major political development made headlines: reports suggest that Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin may meet to discuss ending the Russia–Ukraine war. On the economic side, U.S. national debt has now exceeded $37 trillion—a record high. Historically, debt pressure is considered negative for gold prices, but geopolitical tensions and inflation fears can offset this effect.

Recently, rumors about the U.S. imposing tariffs on gold spread quickly. Initially, the next day brought a denial, but American media later provided evidence confirming the news. The White House then stated they would soon make an important decision regarding gold tariffs. As of now, no official decision has been announced, but the tariffs remain in place—consider it a story buried for now.

Meanwhile, China, one of the biggest gold market players, purchased over two tons of gold in June worth over $1 billion—a sign of continuing demand and confidence in gold as a safe-haven asset.

In India, following new tariffs, gold prices surged to a record ₹10,300 per gram, which is equivalent to around ₨383,000 per tola in Pakistan. In Dubai, prices are hovering around ₨372,000 per tola.

As for our local Pakistani gold market, this week was extremely slow, with prices moving only about ₨3,000 up or down. However, this stability has also formed a solid base for a potential bullish move in the coming days.

Both local and international gold markets are showing signs of strength, supported by technical patterns and geopolitical developments. If momentum continues, we could see significant moves in the weeks ahead.
